French Blue and Peachy Pink Glove Collection

These pretty french blue lace fingerless gloves are my latest find.    They are soooo pretty !

Once upon a time a young lady in the 1930's may have worn them to a dance.

Maybe she she was on her very first date.

Maybe she was a nervous little wall flower waiting patiently to be asked to dance.

I dare to dream that these pretty gloves could tell many a tale of yesteryear. 

They could tell stories of spinning happily around on the dance floor or hearing a young lady laughing with delight. They could tell a story of the dance finishing and being time to go home.  They could describe the sweet little purse that she carried..........

I bet these pretty darlings were washed carefully, hung to dry and then packed away in a glove box until the next special occasion.......
