Broken china doesn't necessarily have to end in tears. These little school chairs have been transformed into works of art with precious little pieces of bone china. Think twice before throwing your little 'accidents' in the bin, put them into a container and begin a project ! If a chair is too big a task, begin with something smaller like a flat picture frame.
Stepping stones for the garden are also very pretty when they are mosaiced. Tile shops often have unwanted tiles that they cannot sell and you can pick up cheaply or if you are lucky free.
