Shabby Chic Giftwrapping......to Inspire You

A visit to Shabby Sheilas had me leaving the store with a box full of pretty decorations..........

Birthdays are such special occassions to show that somebody special how much you care. When it comes to wrapping your carefully thought out gift, I think it's just as important to wrap the gift with just as much thought.  A box of pretty ribbons and tags and pretty wrapping paper tucked away in a box for such occassions  is a great idea.  Shabby Sheilas always keep a beautiful range of gift cards and oh so special little bits and pieces to trim your gifts.

Look at what I found today when I paid a visit to their beautiful store.........I particulary loved the 'Congratulations' flag, so gorgeous and I love the scalloped edge around the border.
Imagine a pretty pot of pansies wrapped in colourful tissue paper with the  flag poking out of the pot. Very cute !

or maybe you would prefer a gift wrapped in newspaper with a huge white silk ribbon around it with the white linen 'Congratulations' tag hanging from it.

Think outside the square.  Brown paper or newspaper or even pages from vintage magazines are a great way to wrap a gift and a whole lot cheaper than an expensive roll of gift wrap.

and don't you just adore these paper chains.........all made and ready to be hung up in your doorway or maybe front door to welcome your guests !  Very shabby chic and very pretty
