Antiquing Saturday Find

Antiquing Saturday last weekend saw me find this pretty little Miss.
I think she is from the 1930's, she is made of plaster, has been carefully hand painted and is in marvellous condition for her age.
She has been very busy out in the apple orchard picking apples.
I think she is beautiful and reminds me of a Bessie Peace Guttman painting.  This pretty little thing is available at The Coliseum Antique Centre or email me for further details.

I think she is very sweet and if she fitted into my French Blue and Peachy Pink colour scheme she would be happily living here with me.
I know that she won't last long, she is far too pretty !

  1. Hello dearest Melanie, I am enjoying your gorgeous blog sweetie! It is a lovely reflection of your sweet spirit! I am glad we will be getting to know each other and can "visit!" She is a very pretty Little Miss. I am sure she will sell quickly! I love Bessie Peace Guttman's paintings. Her artwork is beautiful and captures childhood innocence perfectly! I hope you have a lovely day my friend! Sending you much love, Paula xoxo

  2. Beautiful, sweet Melanie! Thank you so much for you lovely visit and very kind words! You blessed me so much! I, too, am happy that we crossed paths on Pinterest! I admire your gorgeous vintage beauties! Thank you dearest, for being happy I am doing well and for awaiting a new photo on Flickr to check on me. You are so precious and I am very grateful for your loving message to me before my open-heart surgery. Your kind and loving words helped me so much, along with all the other sweet ladies. I felt so love and covered in prayer. It was a blessing! I, too, am blessed we made contact and I look forward to knowing you better! Much love, Paula xoxo

  3. That is just a gorgeous little piece...definitely reminds me of a Bessie piece! Really charming!
