THURSDAY FLOWERS Handbags and Teacups

Late last week I was offered  a stall at a local shopping centre to sell my flowers.
It was an offer to good to be true to help promote my baby sized new business into something much larger.

It was a very last minute offer but somehow I pulled it off, picked up my business cards, placed a flower order and made a few samples of my wares.
Lots of my business cards were taken, kind words of praise were spoken and I met lots of friendly souls who stopped to say hello.

In between sipping coffee to stay warm I set up my stall with very few props because I wasn't sure how much space I would have.  All I took to decorate my stall with was an old wine box, a white tablecloth, an old picture frame and my small pink shaving cabinet.

I took a small branch of a tree to give my stall some height and interest and then I let my flowers do the talking !

AND THEY DID !

Now it's your turn to take a look

My pretty 'Posy Purse' design was a talking point.
One lucky lady fell in love with the pretty 1950's glomesh purse and had to have her.

Teacup posies are always a favourite !
This one below was my very favourite.
I adore the reds and deep pinks together.

My Roses and Stocks birdcage tied with vintage ribbon
A modern piece below. Beautiful for those who have a super modern, chic home or office and don't like lots of fuss.
Pictured below is a cute little celluloid heart shaped chocolate box filled with moss, Chrysanthumums, Budwax and a pretty porcelaine violet ornament.

My 'Doily Posy' range proved to be popular on the day. Pink was the favoured colour of the day.

It was a fun day meeting new people and living my dream.
